EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy treatment that was originally designed to alleviate distress associated with trauma. In addition to treating trauma, EMDR also helps with emotional distress related to life events.  By gently revisiting the memory, moment, or incident, a client will recall feelings surrounding the event. Then, by accessing the negative associations to the memory, information is enhanced, reprocessed, and adaptive associations come to light.  Clients will be able to integrate these new empowering associations to help eliminate the negative belief that gets in the way of living a more meaningful life.

This powerful yet simple technique can bring quick and lasting results in a few sessions.
