Background information

For the past 15 years I have worked with a variety of agencies and non-profit organizations to help others comprehend their lives and draw insight and fresh perspectives. In 1988, I began volunteering with the Big Brothers Association, Prevent Blindness Ohio, the Columbus AIDS Task Force, and the Columbus Ohio Diabetes Association.

After moving to Los Angeles in the early 1990s, I volunteered as a group facilitator for the Shanti Foundation, providing emotional support for an HIV positive men's group. For the past five years, I also have led workshops for the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center and the California Men's Gathering in Malibu.

My experience working with various self help groups led me to Imago Relationship Therapy, developed by Harville Hendrix, PhD. For the past five years I have been a volunteer and assistant for "Getting the Love You Want" workshops in Long Beach, California and Relationship Solutions, founded by Waverly Farrell. As a result of my experience, I was compelled to complete my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. While completing my studies at Antioch, I was an MFT trainee for Step Up on Second in Santa Monica, California. My duties included individual and group therapy for members of the agency.

Currently, I am working in West Hollywood with individuals, couples, and groups. I am a member of Imago Couples International, and the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
